We also made another section with what Talent Spec we think are the best for the tough levelling process that is Classic WoW, just below that you can find links to our complete guides for each class and our recommended Talent Build to use and locations to farm to make it faster and easier.
For players who plan to play with others, we recommend these as the Best Duo Leveling Classes. These rankings take into account the synergy between classes and how fast they can level from 1-60 together. For example, having a healer to pair with the Warrior makes for a strong combo since you can now tank mobs more effectively, while the Priest DoTs (Damage Over Time) mobs.
Step-by-step class guides are on the way!  The 1-12 Mulgore Guide is the first guide to get all the individual class steps.  At the top of the guide, simply select which class you are playing and the page will dynamically update all the steps in the guide for that class (both text and images).  The rest of the guides will be slowly updated overtime to include all the class steps, but you can see how it's going to work with the 1-12 Mulgore.  I want to thank crazyK and his Placeholderguild for helping me out with the individual class content.  They are allowing me to get the 1-60 Alliance guide done while also getting all the class steps done at the same time, so everything can be ready for Classic launch (hopefully).
Taking all factors into consideration, the best race for Alliance warriors is a human. Many Alliance racials are better suited for PvP purposes, which makes it tougher to decide a clear winner. None of the races stand out as amazing, but humans do have a passive boost to weapon skill when using a sword or mace. This gives them the slight edge over any other Alliance race, but a dwarf wouldn’t be a terrible alternative.
The Selfish Arms-Fury 31/20 build. This build is all about a 2h weapon. It hasn’t made any concessions to expecting to tank, and it’s purely about doing as much damage as possible with a 2h weapon, specifically a sword in this case for the Sword Specialization chance to proc another attack. This build could easily change based on what the best 2h weapon you happened to have access to is — most players would probably use Axe or Polearm spec since those seemed easier to get than swords. This particular spec doesn’t even use Deflection, which is a decent survivability talent, choosing instead to focus on Improved Overpower for more crit chance when dealing with annoying Rogues trying to dodge everything you do. This is as close to a glass cannon build as Arms Warriors ever got, back in the day. Arms with proper gear for the time (basically, the best PVP gear or raid gear from BWL or up) would go with this spec and just annihilate people in BG’s, trusting in a pocket healer to keep them alive long enough to ruin people’s days. If you saw an Arms Warrior with the Might of Menethil and Mace Spec, you knew you were in for a bad, bad time.
So, if you happen to have two good 1h weapons, and are Fury specced, don't be afraid to try out dual wielding. Some people swear by it, and I can see why. Getting misses/parries with 2h weapon is cancer, and having two weapon swings for two different chances at crit, can really help smooth out your damage and make it less random. If you're still skeptical, I'd suggest trying it out once you get Thrash Blade, or if you happen to have a Flurry Axe. With really sick 1h weapons, dual-wielding can definitely feel great.
The Horde 12-20 (Barrens + Stonetalon Mountains) guide has been rewritten and revamped.  In addition, there has been numerous tweaks to the speedrun route to make things faster and easier to follow.  Also, in case you haven't noticed I am now adding about 40% more info per step and redoing all the images.  Unlike with my previous vanilla guides, I am now giving a brief explanation of where to go and what to do with each step along with any other helpful tips.

If you thought your job was done after reaching level 60 and filling out your talent tree, then you’re in for a big surprise! Hitting the level cap is just the first step, because now you’ll actually need to take the time to optimize your character. While a mail agility helm might have worked for leveling because it was all you could find, you’ll definitely want a plate one offering strength.
Hit Cap to 8% – The utmost priority lies with raising your hit cap to a minimum of 8%. If you’re dual-wielding, the hit cap is actually 27%, but that value is almost impossible to reach, especially if you’ve just reached level 60. With that in mind, your special abilities (think rotational abilities like Bloodthirst and Whirlwind) only require 8% to actually hit. This does mean that as a dual-wielding fury warrior, you will miss auto attacks, but all of your special abilities that consume rage will hit.

Meanwhile i’d suggest you go Scarlet Monestary with a friend (I was a mage, and i had a hunter friend, sometimes another mage, and sometimes a priest) — that will do just fine, regardless of gear. I suggest Library and Armory for the most Silk Cloth / Mageweave. – That way you can also get your little Tabard of the Scarlet Crusade, which I think is awesome. — It’s a small bonus to the grind 🙁

The Horde levels 50-60 guide has been rewritten and revamped.  My 1-60 Horde leveling guide is now completely updated for the 1.12 Drums of War patch.  As you can see it is about 15% larger than the 40-50 guide (single largest guide page yet).  There is also a lot of route changes.  I moved the entire Silithus section from level 55 to level 58, which allowed me to include a lot more quests for that zone.  There is also a lot of other improvement to the route, including adding a lot more quests into the guide, mostly from Moonglade, Silithus and Eastern Plaguelands.  This will make the final level 59 grind much shorter.
The rotation for an arms warrior is quite simple. Keep Rend applied at all times on your primary target. After that, use Mortal Strike on cooldown. When MS is on cooldown, use Overpower as a filler ability. When MS and OP are on cooldown, use Heroic Strike or Cleave depending on the number of enemies. Even though you can play arms, you’d probably have a better time going two-handed fury if you’re dedicated to a two-hander.

Despite tauren and trolls being good choices, the clear standout winner is an orc. Not only do orcs have a passive weapon skill boost when using axes, but they also have one of the strongest racial damage abilities in the entire game, Blood Fury. Blood Fury is insanely powerful for warriors, boosting attack power by 25% for a whole 15 seconds at the cost of reduced healing. Even better, it has just a 2 minute cooldown. Hands down, you’ve got to be an orc if you really care about maximizing your DPS.
Mining – You might find it odd to see a crafting profession in here, but warriors don’t actually require any professions to maximize their damage. Any crafted weapons or armor are tradeable, meaning that you can collect the raw materials yourself and have someone else make them for you. Mining doesn’t offer direct bonuses, but will make it easier (and cheaper) to acquire crafted weapons and armor.

Jack of all trades — Arms/Fury/Protection 31/5/15. This build was the meat and potatoes Warrior build of classic WoW. This was the build you picked if you were going to do some tanking, some PVP, and you weren’t the main tank of your raid guild or just didn’t want to have to switch specs around constantly. It does a little bit of everything — it has Mortal Strike for those bosses that had a self heal, it lets you switch to a big 2h weapon (although you don’t get 2h Weapon Specialization) in your off hours, it’s basically the I’m not going to be the best at anything but I can do anything you need spec. There are variants for players who wanted to do more damage — swapping out Improved Thunder Clap and Hamstring for 2h Weapon Spec, for example.

Members Area:  My members area will launch one week before Classic WoW launches.  At this time I am unsure of how much content will be in it.  I suspect it will be about the same price of a Twitch sub (of only about $5 a month or so).  The members area will support the ongoing efforts to improving my leveling guides over time.  There is a lot more content planned for the future, including remastered TBC leveling guides (even if Blizzard does not launch Classic TBC).  And remastered WOTLK leveling guides.  I plan to continue to make leveling guides for WoW full time for many years to come!
