Your top priority is to use Bloodthirst on cooldown. While BT is on cooldown, you’ll want to use Whirlwind. If you have BT coming off cooldown, don’t use WW unless you’ll still have enough for BT right as it comes off cooldown. When both BT and WW are on cooldown, you can use your rage dump abilities. For single target, you can use Heroic Strike, but you’ll want to use Cleave for more than one enemy. The final ability on the rotation is Overpower, which does require you to switch into Battle Stance. Because of this, you’ll only want to switch to Battle Stance to use OP when BT and WW are on cooldown and you have less than 50 rage. When an enemy reaches 20% health, your rotation becomes Execute and Execute alone.

Mining – You might find it odd to see a crafting profession in here, but warriors don’t actually require any professions to maximize their damage. Any crafted weapons or armor are tradeable, meaning that you can collect the raw materials yourself and have someone else make them for you. Mining doesn’t offer direct bonuses, but will make it easier (and cheaper) to acquire crafted weapons and armor.
For each character level (up to 60), there will be 5 levels worth of weapon skill. This means that each different weapon skill requires 300 levels on a level 60 warrior. The reason why this matters is because of how glancing blows work on enemies. The basic concept behind weapon skill is that a higher weapon skill will result in less damage lost. With a lower weapon skill, your attacks have a chance of dealing reduced damage.

*You can also go from 230-250 by making Black Mageweave Boots (3 x Bolt of Mageweave, 2x Heavy Silken Thread, 2 x Thick Leather) x 20. This will cost you the extra Thick Leather, but will also be more likely to sell at the Auction House (due to the Engineering use; Gnomish Rocket Boots and Goblin Rocket Boots, which is in higher demand from Player vs. Player-action.

Meanwhile i’d suggest you go Scarlet Monestary with a friend (I was a mage, and i had a hunter friend, sometimes another mage, and sometimes a priest) — that will do just fine, regardless of gear. I suggest Library and Armory for the most Silk Cloth / Mageweave. – That way you can also get your little Tabard of the Scarlet Crusade, which I think is awesome. — It’s a small bonus to the grind 🙁

Warriors are the undisputed kings of WoW Classic tanking, being capable of swapping between excellent defensive capabilities plus decent threat building, or excellent threat building plus decent defensive capabilities. They also have multiple ways to taunt back enemies, or otherwise catch up and crowd control them before casualties happen among their allies.
The Anvil – Protection 51. No, really. This is a build that the first MT in my first raiding guild used, and with it we cleared several realm first kills all the way up to Naxx 40. This build sacrifices pretty much all damage and Deflection over in Arms, which was a hard sell at the time — when I started main tanking I ended up going with a variant Arms 5/Protection 46 build that gave up Improved Taunt and One-Handed Weapon Spec for those 5 points in Deflection. Either way, this is a spec that says I tank, and I don’t do anything else without either spending gold or bringing a lot of friends with me. But they have a ton of survival in them.
Two handed fury is far less viable for Alliance players considering they don’t have access to shamans or Windfury. You’ll note that Improved Cleave is now standard, as you no longer need points in Dual Wield Specialization. You’ll also need to grab 3 points in Two-Handed Weapon Specialization found in the arms tree, the talent choice that really sets the build apart.
Please note that the Strategy Guide covers World of Warcraft version 1.0, which was the last version before the game’s release version 1.1. Using this as a base, it is possible to find out when content was added. The Master Guide, the Battle Chest Guide and the Dungeon Companion cover content for the game’s release version 1.12, thus providing us with a clear view on which content was available in the last branch of vanilla WoW. It is important to note that none of these books cover extended stats for creatures, quests, etc.; only the basics are covered. Thus it should be considered that these books at least provide a view on what content actually existed and what did not exist during vanilla WoW."
Mobs out in the open world generally have a higher movement speed and higher attack speed than you. If you were to stand still and trade hits with a mob back and forth you may end up trading 1 of your Auto attacks for 2+ of theirs. If executed properly, The Hamstring Method allows you to trade 1 hit for 1 hit with a target, drastically reducing your damage taken while not reducing your damage at all since you are monitoring your natural auto attacks with the swing timer.

As many of you know, leveling a Warrior in Classic is not easy - it’s almost like playing the game on hard mode. Despite having low mobility, low sustain, and the highest gear dependence in the game, Warriors are by far the most played class in Vanilla. There is a sort of masochistic appeal to leveling the hardest class in the game. To some, this epic challenge provides the purest Vanilla experience, and watching an expert pilot this class with finesse is like watching an artist at work.
That same concept applies to all aspects of your character. While you may have made something work for leveling, you’ll now want to fine-tune it to get the most from your character. You might notice a distinct difference between a level 1 character and a level 60 character, but you’ll also be able to distinguish between a fresh level 60 warrior and a fully-optimized level 60 warrior. The optimized warrior will survive for much longer, and will deal far more DPS!

The Frantic Fury — Arms 11/Fury 40. This is the classic DW Fury build. There are variants, of course — there were always variants — but this is a standard build that makes sure to get Bloodthirst, full Flurry, and Improved Heroic Strike. Many a Fury Warrior hated those 2 points in Deflection, but there was no way to move down the Arms tree without them. Quite a few Warriors used this variant, that traded away the Improved Berserker Rage talent for Improved Intercept. I was a 2h Fury, but I raided with quite a few Fury Warriors who loved Imp Intercept.
Critical Strike – After reaching the soft hit cap of 8%, you’ll want to stack as much critical strike as possible! Critical strikes are helpful to any class, but warriors in particular benefit from talents that make crits even more important. 2 points in Impale will increase the damage of critical strikes by 20%, while 5 points in Flurry allow you to gain a 30% attack speed bonus to your next 3 swings after you’ve actually landed a crit.
Hit Cap to 8% – The utmost priority lies with raising your hit cap to a minimum of 8%. If you’re dual-wielding, the hit cap is actually 27%, but that value is almost impossible to reach, especially if you’ve just reached level 60. With that in mind, your special abilities (think rotational abilities like Bloodthirst and Whirlwind) only require 8% to actually hit. This does mean that as a dual-wielding fury warrior, you will miss auto attacks, but all of your special abilities that consume rage will hit.
Escort quests can take awhile to do.  I have thoroughly tested all the escort quests in the game for time/xp.  Most are worth doing, but as long as you are able to actually do them without failing.  Most require you to pay special attention to the escortee as most are fragile and will die easily, so do your best to keep mobs off of the escortee during escort quests.  The longest one in the game is the Tanaris chicken escort.  The chicken escorts are only worth doing if you were able to do all 3 of them, as if you do, you will be able to turn in an additional easy quick XP turn in quest at BB, which makes them worth it.
