I am currently working full time on my Vanilla WoW leveling guides.  Soon there will be a 1-60 speed leveling guide for Alliance, along with in-game guide versions available for my members area.  As of right now, there is no members area, but if you would like to show support for my efforts into this project, you can simply donate to me via Patreon if you like (you will get some cool rewards in return).  Or you can donate directly with PayPal if you like.  All donations are highly appreciated and they will only motivate me more to continue making the best vanilla WoW leveling guides on the web.
Elune’s Grace: On-use ability that reduces damage taken and increases dodge chance by 10% for 15 seconds. 5 minute cooldown. Useful if there are a lot of mobs attacking at once, or if fighting mobs that attack often, such as dual wielders. Also useful in PvP in similar situations, such as against rogues or feral druids. Less useful against slow, hard hitting mobs or players.

I will be Speed Leveling for Classic Launch!  Yes I will be devoting 100% of my time for the first week of Classic launch to do a speedrun from 1-60 and my goal is to beat my personal best time of 4 days 20 hours.  You can watch this live on my Twitch Channel, so be sure to give it a Follow!  This also means I will be unavailable to do email support for my leveling guides on the first week of Classic launch.  So I highly recommend if you plan to use my guides to get members access prior to Classic launch to make sure you can login with no issues.
You’ll also want to ensure that you stay in Shadowform at all times for the +15% boost to shadow damage and reduction to damage taken. This does prevent you from using any kind of healing spells, but then again you’re a shadow priest, not some kind of silly healer! Realistically, a shadow priest just does not have the mana capacity to help with healing.

That was the only 5 minutes I was ever outside of Nihilum since I joined it, and to be completely honest with you, I can't even remember what happened with that god damned belt. I think I ended up taking it either for free or for a highly discounted price, but it's the drama that stuck with me and not the actual DKP or belt. And in closing, as you might expect, I didn't ever get the Sulfuras or the Eye, as it simply didn't drop while I was ahead on points. I did, however, grind a whole lot of Rich Thorium Veins in preparation for both it and Thunderfury, for which I actually had the left binding - and also never got.
As I mentioned in the beginning of the guide, people have this misconception about how one is supposed to level a priest. Many believe that in order to kill a mob, they have to use their all of their mana to continually cast spells. However, this is horribly inefficient, as doing so will burn through mana much too quickly, and despite killing mobs quickly, the priest is having to sit down to drink more often.
That makes a dwarf the best choice for an alliance priest. Their racial passive aren’t helpful, but their priest abilities are fantastic. They also have Desperate Prayer, but they have Fear Ward, an invaluable ability that is mandatory for certain boss encounters. While both abilities aren’t offensively helpful, they offer fantastic utility and support, a key marker of the priest class.
Most priests opt to play as holy or discipline, but shadow is just as important as the other two specializations. Shadow priests have Shadow Weaving, which boosts all shadow damage done by 15%. This definitely helps the shadow priest, but it also helps warlocks as a much of their damage is shadow-based. Raids are certain to have multiple warlocks, so this makes Shadow Weaving, and therefore a shadow priest, an essential member of any raid group.

Hunter pets that died while the hunter was in a battleground are resurrected in an unhappy state when the battleground ends Auto Shot does not animate or display a missile when it fires immediately after Aimed Shot Aspect of the Pack will sometimes attempt to apply itself to mounted party members When a Quiver or Ammo Pouch is equipped, the tooltip for Aimed Shot incorrectly reflects an attack speed bonus from the Quiver or Ammo Pouch that it does not actually receive When taming a pet that teaches the Hunter a new Beast Training ability, the chat message does not report the ability’s rank The Hunter’s quiver may occasionally appear in the Hunter’s hand instead of the Hunter’s equipped weapon We hope to have fixes in place for these issues before launch, but please note that we can never guarantee when or if any known issue will be fixed.

This actually may have been pre-1.12, as I'm pretty sure it didn't have the +5 defence at the time, but I might be wrong. I was wearing a blue belt, I think it had a +1% to block and I was pretty happy with it for those seldom-needed off-tank purposes. I also didn't have any other Might items, as most of those were still reserved for the real tanks. Shockingly, no one wanted the Belt of Might when it dropped (off a trash mob as I recall) as all the tanks had it already and, obviously, all the DPS/off-tank Warriors would rather spend their DKP on DPS items. Also keep in mind this was a BoE item. And so the then raid leader and officer, Fisker, decided someone had to take it, we weren't going to disenchant or sell it, but we also weren't going to give it our for free - and I was the lucky recipient of this minus x DKP prize.
It’s important that you levelling in certain areas around your characters level to gain the full XP reward for slaying monsters. Below is a list of all the best location for grinding XP from level 1 to 60, these locations are good for AOE spells and should have plenty of mobs. The Level you should be before you enter that specific location will be indicated to left in a Blue Color for Alliance [Lvl 35-39] and Orange Color for Horde  [Lvl 35-39] the Mobs you are looking for Bolded [Mob Name].
We have a large post over on the WoW Classic beta forums where Blizzard are addressing all the outstanding issues with Hunters. We have a huge amount of problems listed below, from the now expected "not a bug" things players report that are actually working as intended, to bugs that have already been fixed or will be very soon, and actual bugs that aren't fixed yet but are on the known issues list.

This is a favourite for most Priest players and mostly used in PVP, but is just as viable in PVE as you would expect from a DOT Spec. Below we have an image of the Best Shadow Talent Build to use in WoW Classic Patch 1.12 and is meant for PVP Battlegrounds use. some of the key points with this build are the obvious ones being Vampiric Embrace which heals you for the damage you do, and then there is Shadow Form which gives you a buff that increases Shadow Damage by 15% and reduces physical damage you take also by 15%

When that ass is firmly planted in the saddle of a sexy steed, feel free to spend as much money as desired. A lot of people suggest (and complain about) saving 1000 gold to buy an epic mount and the training necessary to use it. Don’t bother. The whole point of a mount is improving efficiency. Leveling from 40 to 60 with a mount is much faster than without, but in order to use an epic mount, one has to be level 60 anyway, and at that point, there is no need to be efficient. Raid bosses won’t die faster if you have your epic mount. They will die faster if the damage dealers aren’t dying because the priest could afford decent BoE gear at level 60.

Cone of Cold is behaving consistently with the reference client. Arcane Missiles does not put the caster in combat . A Hunter’s Frost Trap ground effect will break Rogues out of stealth. The Berserking Troll racial ability is behaving as expected and matches the reference client. The pet that a Warlock has when initially logging into the game world does not restore a Soul Shard when dismissed by taking a flight path or moving out of range. The trigger range on Hunter’s traps are reduced by Stealth when the stealthed player is a similar or higher level than the Hunter. Soul Link cannot be dispelled by dispelling the Warlock’s pet. A Warlock’s Succubus pet cannot cast spells if they are out of line of sight of the target. Manually cancelling Stealth after using Vanish will remove the Vanish buff as well as the Stealth buff. Escape Artist has a very small chance to fail when used to escape an effect that has a decreased chance to be dispelled (e.g. a Rogue’s Vile Poisons talent). Rogues are not broken out of stealth by Blizzard until they take damage. Taunting Hunter pets that are set to Aggressive or Defensive mode will cause them to attack the taunting player. I additionally modified the wording on the following to be a bit more clear:
Swim Speed Potions (used especially at lvl 37 for Faldir's Cove in Arathi Highlands and lvl 57 in WPL).  Try to get multiple stacks of these.  I also recommend keeping a stack of these always in your bags.  You will frequently pass rivers and lakes and can use these potions to pass them faster through out the guide.  Please note that these potions do not stack with Druid's Aquatic Form and Glyph of Aquatic Form.
