As I’ve mentioned many times in this guide so far, wands are one of, if not the most important part of a priest’s leveling. A good wand is going to significantly increase a priest’s leveling efficiency. In order to drive home the importance of a good wand, I’ve compiled a list of the best wands available for each level and where they are obtained. If possible, obtain these wands before they can be equipped, so time is not wasted using an inferior wand.
We have a large post over on the WoW Classic beta forums where Blizzard are addressing all the outstanding issues with Hunters. We have a huge amount of problems listed below, from the now expected "not a bug" things players report that are actually working as intended, to bugs that have already been fixed or will be very soon, and actual bugs that aren't fixed yet but are on the known issues list.
The best profession for druid class is an easy one for horde and here’s why. Since Horde will have to choose the Tauren Race just to roll Druid Class, the Tauren Racial Trait provides them with 5+ Herbalism Skill. If you are not sure why this is good you can visit our Herbalism Guide below to learn more. You could also choose Leatherworking and Skinning if you can’t stand picking herbs and making potions since with leatherworking you can make some useful gear for this class.
That makes a dwarf the best choice for an alliance priest. Their racial passive aren’t helpful, but their priest abilities are fantastic. They also have Desperate Prayer, but they have Fear Ward, an invaluable ability that is mandatory for certain boss encounters. While both abilities aren’t offensively helpful, they offer fantastic utility and support, a key marker of the priest class.

Shadow priests can choose any profession they like, but there are some that make sense considering the nature of the class. By default, you’ll need several potions and flasks to help empower your character. Additionally, mana potions are often actually a part of a shadow priest’s rotation considering their mana issues. This makes alchemy a natural choice, but there are a few others that will also help you out.
The crafting process for the Sulfuron Hammer is the grindiest part of this process, as it requires a large amount of difficult to obtain mats, but the Eye itself also has a low (2%-ish) drop chance off Ragnaros, so both parts will require a whole lot of time. This creates a bit of a conundrum, as the logical thing to do is wait until/if you manage to get the Eye for yourself and then start the grind for the crafted hammer. However, unless you get really lucky and get the Eye to drop very early in your Molten Core clears, this is a little impractical as it will take you a long time to gather up all the mats needed, and if you really have your heart set on Sulfuras, you might want to start before you get the Eye. This, of course, is further complicated by some of the mats being drops off bosses in Molten Core, meaning they're either guild property or you'll have to roll for them in pugs. The easy answer here, obviously, is having a good guild that will either decide who's getting the hammer ahead of time, or will bank all the mats and have them ready for whoever gets the Eye when it drops. This also isn't as easy as it sounds, as the big pain-in-the-*filtered* mat required here involves a whole lot of alchemist 2-day cooldown transmutes, which again requires a whole lot of planning.
If you are out of mana, do not panic. Your wand provides a substantial amount of DPS. Just target something and wand it down. Passive mana regeneration should regenerate enough mana for a Power Word: Shield, if it is needed. Get the killing blow, get Spirit Tap and wait its full duration before starting combat again, then rinse and repeat until you are full mana. If any other players are fighting mobs nearby, attempt to get the killing blow for an easy Spirit Tap.
The Horde levels 50-60 guide has been rewritten and revamped.  My 1-60 Horde leveling guide is now completely updated for the 1.12 Drums of War patch.  As you can see it is about 15% larger than the 40-50 guide (single largest guide page yet).  There is also a lot of route changes.  I moved the entire Silithus section from level 55 to level 58, which allowed me to include a lot more quests for that zone.  There is also a lot of other improvement to the route, including adding a lot more quests into the guide, mostly from Moonglade, Silithus and Eastern Plaguelands.  This will make the final level 59 grind much shorter.
We consider Feral Combat to the best overall since you can use it to Solo Level very effectively and can be pretty strong in PVP. Like with most Healing Specs in WoW Classic its hard to have too much of them and Restoration Druid provide its own use in Raids/Dungeons. Balance Spec has big mana problems which makes it a pain to use in PVP but has seen some viability within Raids/Dungeons PVE content.
Enchanting – Another fantastic choice is enchanting. A big part of optimization is enchants that add powerful passive bonuses. These too can get fairly expensive, but you can drastically reduce that cost by picking the skill up yourself. If you’ve selected tailoring, enchanting is a great pairing because they both don’t require a dedicated gathering profession to supply it.
As you might imagine, this didn't sit well with me as I was aiming for Sulfuras, and it sounded pretty unfair that I had to be punished for having the most DKP of the Warriors present there, making me lose my spot in line for the hammer. And so I said no, thanks. Apparently this wasn't an option as I was then told I had to take it. And then I said no again, which prompted a huge discussion/fight, which ended up in Fisker kicking me from the guild for refusing to take this belt.

This Shadow Talent Build is the fastest for Leveling Up a Priest Class from 1-60 in WoW Classic patch 1.12. Spamming Shadow Damage DOTs while kite mobs will be the name of the game with this build, having the ability to sustain your health is just a bonus. You will just need to make sure you are stacking enough spirit so you don’t run out of mana often as that will slow down the levelling process drastically.

I made some route changes to the Horde levels 43-44 sections.  I have swapped 44 Dustwallow Marsh with 44 Desolace (the entire sections). This allowed me to do Deadmire (at lvl 43 instead of 38) and then go stop at TB to turn in Deadmire + The Black Shield at the same time, then fly quickly to do the Desolace stuff.  Doing 44 Desolace is now mandatory because I think its faster with the new routes. This will also make the level 53 grind much shorter.  I think these were great changes.
It’s important that you levelling in certain areas around your characters level to gain the full XP reward for slaying monsters. Below is a list of all the best location for grinding XP from level 1 to 60, these locations are good for AOE spells and should have plenty of mobs. The Level you should be before you enter that specific location will be indicated to left in a Blue Color for Alliance [Lvl 35-39] and Orange Color for Horde  [Lvl 35-39] the Mobs you are looking for Bolded [Mob Name].
Possibly the most complicated Addon I have ever used it is also one of the most powerful. You can build custom Visual and Audio warnings for virtually any situation in the Game. I have used it for Buff Stacks Low HP and Ability Cooldowns many times over the years on various Characters. Blizzard added similar Visual Warnings in Cataclysm.Git Repository: https://github.com/Geigerkind/ModifiedPowerAuras
